GRAPHITE ONE ANNOUNCES NAME CHANGE OF ITS ALASKA SUBSIDIARY TO GRAPHITE ONE (ALASKA) INC. AND STOCK OPTION GRANT

April 8, 2015 – Vancouver, B.C. – Graphite One Resources Inc. (TSX-V:GPH |OTCQX:GPHOF) ("Graphite One" or the "Company") announces the name change of its wholly owned, Alaska subsidiary company to Graphite One (Alaska) Inc. from Cedar Mountain Exploration (Alaska) Inc.  The change is effective immediately.

The Company also announces that the board of directors has approved an incentive stock option grant to W. Alan Ahlgren, CFO and Secretary, for the purchase of 500,000 shares of Graphite One at an exercise price of $0.13 per share, all vesting immediately and expiring on April 2, 2020.
